What is Yoga?

Yoga was designed by the ancient Hindu culture. It is really difficult to record how it actually started. But it is thousands of years Old Art to keep someone healthy and full of life. Old Tibetans used to do different exercises which were similar to Yoga. Similarly if we look at the Buddha, he has almost the same teachings as we see in the Sutras of Patanjali. Still you can see Buddha's sculpture sitting in LOTUS posture which is very famous in regulating the body energies, so very good for meditations.

Few people actually relate it to the nature's natural instantiates which were adopted by the human being. Sometimes it was taken from the calmness of sea and sometimes it was taken from the high and dangerous surfs of sea. Sometimes it was taken from the flower Lotus and sometimes from different animals.

But the Art of Yoga was just a scattered knowledge until Patanjali came. He organised Yoga and saw the affects of Yoga on the body and put together the laws of Yoga as a proper Yogi Practitioner. So until today the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are the basis of the Yoga Practice.
